Ok, Huckabee your turn

I must admit that Mike Huckabee probably has the best personality of all the folks who ran for the GOP nomination, but the chances of him winning the nomination is now over.  It is time for him to step aside and let John McCain begin to bring tha party together.

It is time for the GOP to get their sh*t together and watch Billary and Obama tear each other apart.

So much for the GOP primary in Ohio on March 4th.  Oh well, should be fun watching the knife fights between the Dems.

Good times!

MoveOn.org endorses Obama, aka America-Haters for Obama

Well, well…the biggest anti-America, troop-hating group in the country endorsed Barak Obama yesterday.  Yep, MoveOn.org announced their “members” (aka hippies, commies, losers) endorsed Barak Obama by a 70% to 30% margin over Hilliary Clinton.  You can read the story here.

So, you ask why I say that MoveOn.org hates America and its troops?  Well, if you don’t remember the most reprehensible political ad in my life time, here is the link to the disgusting Attack on General Petraeus.

Yeah, the ad that the Democrats were too afraid to speak up against MoveOn.org because their party has been taken over by the far left fringe.  If it were a Republican group accussing Ted “Put a Blonde in Your Pond, Vote for” Kennedy of murdering his mistress, er secretary, holy hell would break loose.  Ok, that was over 30 years ago, but it is always fun to take a shot at Ted Kennedy.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, has galvanized me to defeat any Democrats that are supported by MoveOn.org.

If you want to get an idea of how wacked out MoveOn.org, its sugar daddy George Soros, and the Democratic Party is now, you should check out former NY Times Reporter Matt Bai’s book “The Argument“.  It goes deep within the bowels of evil and shines a light on it.

Will McCain put it away (almost) on Super Duper Tuesday?

This is more of just a question to the readers.  Please feel free to comment and let us know what you think.

Kicking it in the FLA: Who gets Fred’s votes

So, there have been about 50 polls done in Florida since Thompson dropped out.  The big question is who gets Fred’s votes?  So here is out analysis:

Rudy is absolutely TOAST!

Huckabee: See Rudy

McCain is getting some bounce from SC.  What McCain has done since being given last rites as recent as October 2007 is truly remarkable.  Even with some warts he is really winning over a lot of GOP voter who normally would not be so inclined to support him.  But is it enough to hold off Mitt…

Mitt seems to be getting the majority of the Fred supporters and with the economic issues going on right now he is getting more and more appealing to many GOP voters.

The polls have it so close in FLA it could end up being closer than SC.  We shall see but the bump the winner gets heading into Feb 5 could be huge.  If McCain wins we think he rolls to the nomination.  If Mitt wins he could come back and take it.  Of course we could see a brokered convention…fun times for all.

Billary v. Obama

Ok, I missed the Dem debate last night, but all the slips I have seen are quite entertaining.  It seems that Billary has decided to beat the hell out of Obama and it seems to be somewhat working.  I’m telling ya, those Clintons are some hardball playing politicos.  Makes for great entertainment.  Sit back, get some popcorm and enjoy the show.

Fred Thompson drops out

Well, the inevitable happened.  Fred Thompson dropped out of the GOP Presidential Race.  I truly believed he had a chance to do great things, but never got off the ground.

In honor of Senator Thompson’s Presidential Campaign, here is sadly his finest moment.

Nevada and South Carolina: Short Recap

Well, well…looks like the Hill Train is a little stronger than many think.  Seems that everyone was thinking that the Culinary Endorsement would swing the Nevada Caucus to Obama, but after some foot-stomping by former President Clinton about “voter suppression” (how funny is that) it turns out that Hillary takes Nevada pretty easily.

Also, in Nevada, Mitt rolls big time.  Come to find out that 25% of the GOP vote is Mormon in Nevada.

Now, the South Carolina GOP Primary was good entertainment.  McCain won with Huckabee a relatively close second, 335 to 30% respectively.  One thing I did notice is that Dem consultants are a little worried about John McCain and his ability to win independents and some security Dems (if those exist).  Also, with his 4th place finish it looks like Fred Thompson will be dropping out sometime this week.

Well, it comes down to FLA on the 29th.  Florida is Rudy’s last stand (and only stand it seems), while McCain and Mitt will battle it out.  You can’t forget Huckabee but if he could not win in SC, he is gonna have a problem winning elsewhere.

We shall see what shakes out as the week goes along.

South Carolina and Nevada: Primary/Caucus Fun on Saturday

Does anyone else find it funny that it seems the “Big Mo” goes from candidate to candidate in the Prez race?  I did not realize that Clinton in 1992 did not win the first 6 primaries/caucuses.  In fact he did not win until Georgia.  There is no way that would work today with the 24 hour media circus.  Well, it is good entertainment for us dorky political junkies.

Predictions for Saturday’s fun in SC and Nevada:

SC: Obama wins big and McCain pulls it out over “The Huck”…by the way, did anyone see that he had Chuck Norris and “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair at a rally yesterday.  I am stunned the building did not collapse from the sheer awesomeness of Chuck and Flair…woooooooooooo!

Nevada: Hillary wins (I hope) and Romney

Suddes: Appalachia loves RC Cola

Even though I don’t like his politics, I do enjoy the writings of the “Athens Madman” Thomas Suddes.  Here is his take on Hillary taking Ohio in 2008.  It is a short and entertaining read.

My favorite line has to be: “Dollars to doughnuts, with Strickland’s help, Mrs. Clinton will market herself in Ohio as a Bible-believing NASCAR fan who thinks fine dining is fried catfish washed down with a quart of RC Cola. “

That my friends is priceless!

Ohio: Awaiting the Storm of Prez candidates

A good story from the Cleveland Plain Dealer detailing how Ohio is in limbo in the Presidential Primaries unti after Super Tuesday.  Read the story here to get their thoughts.

I’m telling ya, if either or God forbid, both party primaries are not sown away Ohio is going to become a zoo.  Sit back and enjoy the fun my friends.
